I was just enquiring about this lounge suite that I have. Its original cream vinyl has really gotten to the end of its life unfortunately.

I was wondering if you could let me know what price range I would be looking at to get reupholstered and repaired? I would probably prefer to go for a fabric rather than vinyl. The sofa has at least one broken spring, but other than springs I don't think there are any other structural issues. The brown squabs I think were made by my grandmother and are also at the end of their life. I actually refinished the sofa arms with shellac some time ago and they came up really nice - I have some musical instrument building experience so actually would like to do the exposed wooden part finishing myself.

I believe my uncle bought this suite new for my grandmother in the late 1960s and is otherwise solid and comfortable, and fits in my space better than I can find in recent designs, so would like to save it if possible.
